So, as you guys all know from my shopping posts, and this post in particular, I love, love, love scarves.

If you don't read her blog yet, you really should because she is a big o sweetie and posts the yummiest recipes, does great crafts and has the cutest little girls (oh! and another lil one on the way! So adorable!).
About a month ago Talia contacted me with a brilliant idea -- she proposed that we host a scarf exchange where bloggers will be paired up and will send each other a scarf.

If so, you should totally join in on the fun and Get Your Scarf On!
Here's the lowdown:
We wanted to keep things on the low cost side, so if you're buying a new scarf, the scarf should cost no more than $10 to $15. We've seen tons of cute, reasonably priced ones at Target, Old Navy and places like Nordstrom Rack or Ross. Or, if you're crafty and can make a quick scarf, that would be rad too! (I can sorta crochet but I've only completed one scarf that I gave my boy on our very first Christmas. But I'm super, super slowwwww so this wouldn't be an option for me.)
If you'd like to participate, please leave a comment saying so (and your email too, please!) anytime between now and November 30th. The more the merrier! On December 1st Talia and I will contact everyone and let them know who they have been paired up with.
Then you'll have 10 days to buy the perfect scarf (or start/finish making your handcrafted wonder) for your matched up blogger buddy and get the goodies in the mail by December 10th so everyone can enjoy their new scarves in time for the holidays and super chilly weather.
Oh, and if you're participating, please add this button to your blog so your readers can also get their scarf on!

But I promise I'm not being antisocial by not signing up for this. I just happen to not be a big scarf fan. I know... I know. How is the possible??
I actually think they are quite adorable and adore them, BUT I have a tendency to get hot flashes really easily (even in winter) and the number one reason for this is when something is on the back of my neck. Which includes but is not limited to my camera strap, lei's (can't to Hawaiian parties)... and scarfs. :-(
I'm screwed when turtle necks become popular again.

This swap is TOO perfect for me as I looooooooovvveee scarves and wear them year round! The boyf makes fun of my scarf wearing on a regular basis.
