In addition to having lots of yummy food, laughs and good times on my 25th bday, my family, friends and Johnny also spoiled me rotten! I am seriously a very lucky duck!
Wanna see my loot?
Johnny surprised me with a necklace I had admired at Anthropologie. So sweet he remembered!
My boy also remembered that I have been lusting after getting a print from "The Black Apple." Here is the print he picked out for me. Love it! I love how the girl has short-ish blonde hair and bangs like me. I also adore city skylines. Now I just have to find a good place to hang it up in our house.
Britt treated me to a subscription of "Bitch" magazine. Now I don't have to steal her copies and never return them (oops). I'm really looking forward to reading a feminist perspective of what's happening in this crazy pop culture world of ours. Yay for being informed! This magazine always makes me think.
She also got me the cutest sandals ever from Urban Outfitters. Love them! Hot pink is so summery and fun!
My mom and dad got me my favorite perfume in the world, Vera Wang's Princess. It's the perfect scent for me. They also gave me some wonderful lightweight scarves that will be perfect for spring. You know I love my scarves!
Jimaie presented me with a smorgasbord of fun:
There were cutie-pie sock monkey slippers
An awesome locket from Etsy
Maie also gave me a Crunch bar, sour Skittles and red licorice -- and the perfect thing to go along with a bunch of candy --"Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"! I love that movie! So glad to add it to our DVD collection!
Oooh and a yummy creme brulee candle!
And one more thing -- a book that I already owned so I exchanged it for this wallet:
(which totally reminds me of Mermanda)
Megan and Mike gave me Apples to Apples, which is totally the best game ever! I love that you can play this game a million times and it will never be the same game. After playing it at my bday shindig, John and I brought the game to my parents' house and we played it a bunch of times. My dad usually has to be forced to play board games but even he loved it!
Dana gave me a random and much appreciated present - a new hairdryer! My previous hairdryer was a hand-me-down from my mom. I've been using it ever since John and I moved in together, almost four years ago and who knows how long my mom had used it before that. Dana later told me that after she borrowed it on our work trip she knew exactly what she was going to get me for my bday because apparently my old hair dryer really sucked! The new one works super quick and is super awesome - and one day I hope to learn how to use those handy-dandy attachments!
Thank you so much everyone!!! xoxo
